Harlem: Follow me up on the Rooftop

These photos were taken just some days before my broken-wrist-accident, the first week here in NYC and I had so many hopes for going out, putting on some nice clothes but sometimes life takes you in a different direction.

And this day, I must be honest, the weather wasn't good enough for going out in this outfit. Actually we took these pictures on the rooftop just because it was so cold outside, but I wanted to show you my new shirt from H&M. Usually I don't wear this yellow/pattern color, but I thought it looked really cool together with the denim jacket. 

New York: Sometimes Life is Unfair

Ibland känns livet så orättvisst, hur många gånger har man inte ramlat när man åkt skidor, snowboard eller bara satt sig på rumpan mitt på gatan för att det råkar vara lite halt. Har man då skadat sig? Nej, aldrig - men nu, när man äntligen åker tillbaka till sitt älskade New York och lämnar kalla Sverige bakom sig, då råkar det bli snöoväder och en liten Bambi-vurpa orsaker ett bruten handled - dessutom går den av så illa att det blir operation och 4 dagar på Harlem Hospital. 

They say everything happens for a reason?
I'm looking forward to that answer!

Translation:

How many times haven't I fell while skiing or snowboarding or just on the streets in a wintery Sweden, and never received any injuries. But now, back here in my beloved New York it suddenly arrives a snowstorm, and while crossing Lenox ave....oops, I make a little Bambi on ice and my wrist is broken! Badly! But now, I have experienced 4 positive days in Harlem Hospital + a surgery. 

New York: What's going on?

I thought we had left the winter behind? I mean this is not what we came for!

But I guess the month of march is characterized by ups and downs - like in Sweden.
